Are your products suitable for everyday use or more for display?
Our collections are designed for both functionality and beauty. While pieces like our champagne glasses and cocktail sets are perfect for regular use, items from our Bloom collection or ceramic vases make exquisite display pieces. All are crafted to withstand appropriate use while maintaining their aesthetic appeal.
How should I care for my Caithness glassware?
We recommend hand-washing our fine glassware in warm (not hot) water with mild detergent. Avoid sudden temperature changes and harsh abrasives. For intricate pieces like our paperweights, simply dust regularly with a soft cloth to maintain their brilliance.

Ordering & Account

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal for your convenience. All transactions are securely processed to protect your information.
Can I create an account to track my orders?
Currently, we process orders as guest transactions for simplicity. However, you’ll receive email notifications with tracking information once your order dispatches from our York workshop. We’re developing an account system to enhance your shopping experience in future.
Do you offer corporate or bulk ordering?

Shipping & Delivery

What are your shipping options and costs?
We offer two careful shipping methods:

Standard Shipping (£12.95): Via DHL/FedEx, arriving 10-15 days after dispatch
🎁 Free Standard Shipping: For orders over £50 via EMS, arriving 15-25 days after dispatch

All international shipments (excluding some Asian and remote areas) are meticulously packaged to protect your items during transit.
How long does order processing take before shipment?
Each handcrafted piece receives individual attention before leaving our workshop. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing. You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship to my country?
We proudly ship worldwide, except to certain Asian countries and remote areas where delivery cannot be guaranteed. If you have specific questions about delivery to your location, our customer service team would be happy to assist.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your British craftsmanship. You may return items in original condition within 15 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. Please contact us at [email protected] to initiate a return. Note that return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Despite our museum-quality packaging, if your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Can I exchange an item for a different collection piece?
Certainly. We’re happy to facilitate exchanges for items of equal value from our collections like Aspect, Eleanor, or Limelight. Please contact us within 15 days of receipt to arrange an exchange. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Are your products lead-free?
All our drinkware meets strict safety standards. Our British Made Glassware and Caithness collections use lead-free crystal formulations that provide brilliant clarity without compromising safety.
Do you offer gift wrapping or personalisation?
While we don’t currently offer gift wrapping, each item arrives beautifully presented in our signature packaging. For personalisation inquiries on select pieces from our Dartington Gallery Collection or other lines, please contact our workshop team who may accommodate special requests.
